Hunger for Personal Transformation

Scripture
Romans 12:2 (NIV) – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”

Think
When we hunger and thirst for God, depend on him, and spend time with him, God begins to transform our thoughts, priorities, desires and actions. Spending time with Jesus leads to being transformed by Jesus! As we surrender to God’s work in us, he transforms us into the people we’re called to be; shining his light and goodness into the world as we see his kingdom come in us and through us. What patterns of this world are shaping you? As you hunger for God today, ask him to transform you from the inside out. Today, we invite those who can to pray with us on Instagram. Perhaps you don’t have Instagram, or will be meeting with your home group instead. Either way, be reminded that we are on this journey of transformation together.

Pray
God of transformation, renew my mind and transform my heart. As I seek your will, guide my steps and reshape me, that I may live according your perfect plan for me. Amen.
