Sunday Church Services
8am Traditional Service

TRADITIONAL - A ‘reflective’ said Holy Communion service from the Book of Common Prayer, ideal for those who appreciate a quiet and peaceful service. Occasionally the congregation is invited to join together for breakfast.

More about the 8am Sunday service:

If you want a quiet, serene environment to praise God, then the 8am service provides just that.

Each week the service focuses closely on scripture with readings, short sermon, prayer and Holy Communion. There is no music or singing at this service, giving those attending an opportunity for peaceful, thoughtful and sincere worship.

What people say:

"I enjoy the 8 o'clock service because to me Holy Communion is the most important office of the Church and at this service it is taken every week.

That aside, this service gives me a very good reason to get up early on a Sunday!"

Owen Eggington

"If you are an early riser and want a small, friendly service with weekly Holy Communion, then like us the 8 o'clock service would be for you.

We also enjoy the traditional and formal style of the service."

Brian & Yvonne Hayden
