Men's Breakfast - talk 'Ethical Leadership' by Major General Tim Cross - Sat 30 January 2010
The St Peters Farnborough Men’s breakfast on 30th January went well with some 108 men in attendance. We all started with either a Full English cooked or a Continental breakfast. Six other churches were represented besides our own men so clearly Tim Cross and his topic attracted men’s attention from a wide area. Read more and hear the talk by clicking here.
Return to the Hogs Back Brewery - Fri 20 November 09,
Twenty two of the St Peter's men enjoyed an evening learning about how beer is brewed and sampling a few ales in the process. Once again the team at the Hogs Back Brewery made us very welcome even allowing us two over the stipulated number of places - another sell-out event.
Quiz Night - Fri 16 October 09,
Paul Prescott organised a great evening at Mychett community Centre with a superb quiz and a fish and chips supper. The event was a sell-out with all sixty available places taken by ten teams of hopefuls. Simon Walker's team were triumphant on the night winning by over ten points.
Men of the Skip 2009 - August 2009
Residents of Woburn Avenue enjoyed getting help from our mens skip team to clear rubbish and do odd jobs.

Men's Breakfast
- talk 'Do all Religions Lead to God' by Vijay Menon - July 2009
The men at St Peter's were very fortunate to hear Vijay
Menon speak on the subject 'Don't all religions lead to God?'
Vijay explained that all religions do lead
to God, because no matter what we choose to believe, ultimately
we will all be accountable to the one and only true God, but that
only those that accept Christ as their saviour can have a relationship
with God and eternal life. Read

Dads &
Lads Barbecue - June 2009
Fun and games were to be had at the Dads and lads Barbecue
when over thirty guys met together for an evening of competition
and fun games with the opportunity for a memento of a professional
portrait photograph courtesy of Richard Keeley. Games included moving
the 'uranium' rods, battleship torpedo, table football, Scaletrix
and hoopla mayhem! And of cource, burgers, hotdogs and chicken skewers
played an important part too! The evening was rounded off with a
superb address by Simon Walker on the importance of the father/son
relationship, both here on earth and with our Heavenly Father.
Men's Curry
Night - Mar 2009
Whatever happened to our car industry? Has the world finally gone
mad? Stories about messing around in boats. So what have these three
subjects got in common? Well they were among the many topics discussed
on the last men's curry night!
We had a superb curry night at Vujon
in Cove, when some 17 guys of all ages turned up to feast themselves
and share fellowship and conversation, with a three course, order
what you like, curry meal for just £9.95 per head plus drinks
- great value.
If you would like to be invited to
future curry or pub nights do contact Chris Parrott preferably by E-mail.
